How to rent a photo studio in Benton, AR

What's included, how to prep, and how booking works at The Studio by Linds & Lace.

If you have been looking for a photo studio rental in Benton, AR, or a natural light studio anywhere in Central Arkansas, The Studio by Linds & Lace is a private, rentable creative space in downtown Benton, booked by the hour, with backdrops, props, lighting, and furniture already in the room. You pick your time online, you get an access code, and the whole space is yours. Here is what is included, how to prepare, and exactly how booking works, so your first session feels like your tenth.

What is included when you rent a photo studio in Benton, AR

Every booking is all-inclusive. Nobody else is sharing the room with you, and every backdrop, prop, and light in the building is yours to use:

  • An 8 ft rolling wall with a tan limewash front, a white back, and a curtain option
  • Seamless paper backdrops in a rotating lineup of seasonal colors
  • An antique brick wall, a wainscoting wall, and a bedroom suite with a neutral bed and a bold fireplace corner
  • An LED wall for extra light support with a natural light effect, plus Godox professional lighting with a softbox, triggers for Sony, Canon, and Nikon, and a Godox shape projector
  • A private dressing room with a clothing rack, a lit makeup station with director's chairs, and an office space for branding work
  • Props and furniture: a wavy full-length mirror, a green velvet sofa, white pedestals, vintage rugs, accent chairs, brass candlesticks, and styled shelf decor
  • A Bluetooth speaker, so bring a playlist

Props rotate as new pieces arrive, so the current list lives on The Space page. Photographers use the room for branding, bridals, maternity and newborns, cake smashes, family portraits, and content days, and it works just as well for a content creator who needs good light and a pretty background for an afternoon.

How hourly studio rental and booking works

Everything happens on the booking page, and it takes a few minutes.

  1. Pick how long you need. The rate card at the top of the page shows current hourly pricing. Choose a length first and the calendar only shows days that can fit it.
  2. Pick a date and a start time. The Studio is open Monday through Sunday, 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, and open start times appear for the day you choose.
  3. Add buffer time if you want it. Your rental starts and ends at the times you book, and setup and cleanup happen inside that window. If you want extra room on either end, there is an optional paid buffer add-on on the booking form.
  4. Enter your details and check out. Name, email, phone, session type, and group size, then a secure Square checkout. Card details never touch our site.
  5. Watch for your confirmation. It includes The Studio's address at 127 North Main Street and your entry instructions, including the access code for the door. Show up at your start time and create.

Reservations can be changed or canceled free up to 24 hours before your booking. Please read the rules and FAQ before your first session so nothing on the day is a surprise.

How to prep for your studio session

A little planning makes an hourly rental go a long way.

  • Build a shot list around the space. Decide which walls and set-ups you want, in what order, so you are not rearranging furniture between frames.
  • Plan your hair and makeup time. The makeup station and dressing room are inside the studio, so if your client is getting ready on site, book enough time for it or add a buffer.
  • Know your lighting. Triggers are on the rolling cart and the projector shapes are in the polaroid book. New to Godox gear? Reach out before your date and we will walk you through it.
  • Bring what the room does not have. Your camera and lenses, any specialty backdrops, and, for a cake smash, the cake. A clear mat and plastic covering are provided for messy sessions.
  • Leave room to reset. Before you go, put props and furniture back where you found them, clean up, turn off the lights, lock the door, and return the key to the lock box.

Studio rules that keep the space nice for everyone

Most of our rules come down to taking care of the backdrops. Lift furniture instead of scooting it, especially on seamless paper. Temporary styling on the walls is fine, but nothing nailed or permanently affixed. No smoking, open flames, or smoke bombs. Most pets are welcome and must be supervised; we just ask that you not bring cats because of severe allergies. That is really it. Make the space your own, and leave it like you found it.

Studio Select memberships for Central Arkansas creators

If you shoot here often, Studio Select gives you studio hours at a better rate plus a handful of member-only perks. There is a 4 hour membership at $199 and an 8 hour membership at $399, and both include every amenity, backdrop, and prop, first word on new set-ups and openings, and member discount codes. Not sure yet? Book a single session first and upgrade whenever you are ready. And if you are planning a shower, meeting, or birthday rather than a shoot, The Studio is also available for private events for up to 35 guests.
